After the excellent success of Fragile and Darkness and the two chapters of Rec, with which he charted a solid trajectory in the fantasy genre, Spanish director Jaume Balagueró has decided to change direction altogether, abandoning the more traditional horror and exploring the more sophisticated mechanisms of a disturbing psychological thriller, where suspense and atmosphere are the main features.
